By following the directions below, CollectionWiz™ can analyze your collection in less than 10 minutes.

1. Export your MARC records to your desktop or other convenient location. We’ve included basic instructions for some of the most widely-used library automation systems on the CollectionWiz analysis pages. Otherwise, consult your vendor’s technical manual, online help or customer service team for the most up-to-date instructions.

2. Go to the Capstone Publishers’ website at CapstonePub.com and click on the CollectionWiz icon, or select DETAILED SEARCH from the navigation bar on any of our publishing company homepages [1] [2] [3] [4] [5].

3. Click the BEGIN YOUR ONLINE COLLECTION ANALYSIS link.

4. Once you log in, upload your MARC records. Use the SELECT or CHOOSE FILE button to browse for your file and click SUBMIT once you’re ready to begin.

5. CollectionWiz takes only a few minutes to upload and analyze your records; the load screen will display the progress status.

6. Congratulations—you’ve successfully uploaded your MARC records! Now, every time you log in to your account you’ll have access to your analysis reports, recommended title lists and advanced website functions, including duplicate notification, all based on your most recent records. And for the most up-to-date results, remember to upload your MARC records periodically as you add to your collection.

7. Click VIEW to see your complete CollectionWiz analysis.
